ISQ Recruitment is seeking Electrical Biased Technicians for an innovative and forward-thinking project based in Norfolk. This role combines workshop-based work with the chance to travel to customer sites across the UK and internationally.
The Role:You will play a key part in assembling and delivering products to high standards, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. The position also involves providing on-site support for production line builds and service requirements.
Key Responsibilities: - Assemble prototype products and components to required quality standards.
- Build and route high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) cables.
- Assemble HVAC and cooling circuits.
- Operate tools and equipment for part modification and experimental testing.
- Identify and resolve assembly issues
- Fabricate brackets for cable and hose routing as needed.
- Train team members in wiring techniques to promote skill development.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards, including the use of PPE.
What We're Looking For: - Experience with electrical builds or maintenance across vehicles, machinery, road vehicles, aircraft, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, including insulation resistance testers, OHM meters, and crimp tools.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Own transport due to the location.
Desirable Qualifications: - IMI accreditation or vehicle maintenance qualification.
- IMI award in electric/hybrid vehicle awareness.
- First Aid and Fire Warden training.
- UK driving licence (Cat D or Cat C2 licences desirable but not essential).
